Grass-Fed Beef
Our cattle are grass-fed from start to finish and are moved to fresh, pesticide-free pasture at least twice a day—as ruminants, it’s how their bodies were designed. While traditional grain-fed cattle may gain weight faster it is at the expense of their health, overall quality of life as well as the nutrient-density of the beef. Their digestive systems just aren’t designed for that type of feed. By raising cattle naturally, humanely and regeneratively we are producing flavorful, nutrient-packed beef (free of steroids, hormones and antibiotics) and building healthier soils and pastures for generations to come.

Better for Them
Our cattle are moved to fresh pasture daily allowing them to eat the most nutritious parts of forage and run around. They are never confined inside or dry-lotted. Because they are being raised in harmony with their design, there is no need for antibiotics, growth hormones or steroids. When the time comes, the cattle are processed humanely in an stress-free USDA-certified facility. As living creatures, our cattle receive the dignity and care they deserve from the beginning of their lives to the very end.
Better for You
100% grass-fed beef is a healthier, more delicious and nutritious choice than conventional grain-fed beef. For starters, it is leaner and has an omega ratio of almost 3:1 (conventionally-raised beef is closer to 20:1). It is also higher in key vitamins and antioxidants. Our beef is also dry-aged for 14-21 days resulting in meat that is tender and more flavorful.
Better for Nature
By implementing rotational grazing practices we are mimicking the same grazing patterns of wild ruminants like the buffalo that helped create some of the most fertile land in the world. We do this by moving the cattle to fresh pasture daily enabling them to eat the most nutritious parts of forage without over-grazing. While grazing the cattle are supplying an even deposit of fertilizer. Once moved, the previous pasture has months to recover before the cattle return to graze again. This is increasing the quality and resiliency of our pastures and the long-term health of the soil below.
Taste The Drumhiller Difference
In addition to whole, half and quarter-sides of beef we offer a variety of other options including ground, bundles, roasts, hot dogs, brats, brisket and more. One quarter-side of beef includes steaks (t-bone, porterhouse, sirloin, tenderloin, ribeye, skirt, flank, cube and round), roasts (chuck, arm and rump), ground beef, brisket, beef ribs, stew meat and soup bones. Organ meat is available upon request. The hanging weight for a quarter-side of beef is between 120-150 pounds—the final processing weight is about 80% of the hanging weight.
